SYSTEMS - CLEAN AGENT

Clean Agent is a class of fire suppression systems that offer distinct advantages when compared with the conventional sprinkler systems using water:

• Less Fire Damage: The best way to reduce fire damage is to release the extinguishing agent upon the first indication of a fire. Clean Agents typically are released upon detection of smoke.
• No residue: Clean agents as the name implies are clean and leave no damaging residue that needs to be cleaned up.
• No agent damage: Clean agents do not damage valuable equipment, papers or art. The agents are electrically non-conductive and will not short electrical circuits.
• Less business interruption: Clean agent systems allow faster recovery from a fire incident by minimizing the damage cause by the fire, not damaging equipment, and eliminating the need to clean up the extinguishing agent.

All of these environmentally safe agents are increasingly being used to replace existing Halon 1301 systems, which are no longer manufactured.
